Perfect for dim sum soup dumplings (XLB), this soy ginger dipping sauce blends soy sauce, fresh ginger, sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil for the perfect pairing.

  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar or Chinese black vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon ginger (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha chili sauce (optional)

Instructions

    In a small bowl or container, combine the hot water and granulated sugar, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
