📝 Ingredients
- 1 kg lean minced beef
- 2 tsp Jerk spices
- 150 g MAGGI Rich & Rustic Tomato Sauce
- 50 ml MAGGI Beef Liquid Concentrated Fonds
- 150 g sweet potato, thinly sliced
- 10 Mediterranean flat breads halved
- 250 g MAGGI Ketchup
- Maggi Ketchup ingredients
- 3 kg MAGGI Rich & Rustic Tomato Sauce
- 50 g MAGGI Vegetable Bouillon Powder
- 500 ml white wine vinegar
- 75 g dried ancho chilli, hydrated in 300ml water
- 75 g dried chipotle chilli, hydrated in 300ml water
- 50 ml light salt reduced soy sauce
- 40 g Cajun spice
- 40 g corn starch, mixed in 300ml water
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Method
- 2Mix together the minced beef, jerk spices, MAGGI Rich & Rustic Tomato Sauce and MAGGI Beef Liquid Concentrated Fonds.
- 3Divide the mince into 10 patties.
- 4Chill for 1 hour.
- 5Chargrill the burgers and sweet potato until cooked through.
- 6Chargrill the flatbread to warm through and fill with the salad, burger, sweet potato and a good spoon of MAGGI Ketchup
- 7MAGGI Ketchup Method
- 8Place all the ingredients except the corn starch in a large pan.
- 9Simmer for 45 minutes.
- 10Transfer to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
- 11Return to the pan. Stir in the corn starch mix and simmer for a further 10 minutes.
- 12Allow to completely cool and chill.
- 13Chef’s tip for Maggi Ketchup :
- 14Make as hot/acidic/sweet/spicy as you like. Decant into small bottles and label for enhanced presentation
