📝 Ingredients
- 1.2 kg Scottish beef top rump
- 30 ml MAGGI Beef Liquid Concentrated Fonds
- 30 ml olive oil
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Method
- 2Remove the beef from the fridge and marinate in the MAGGI Beef Liquid Concentrated Fonds and olive oil making sure it is well coated. Marinate for at least one hour at room temperature covered.
- 3Preheat the oven to 190c and pre heat a roasting pan until smoking hot.
- 4Seal the beef on all sides ensuring you get good searing.
- 5Place in the oven and roast for 60 minutes or until core temperature is 60 degrees for medium. Cook for less if rare is preferred. Rest for at least 20 minutes.
- 6Serve with a pan gravy made with a dash of whisky, tatties and neeps.
- 7Serving suggestion
- 8Serve with traditional roasted vegetables.

- 10If preferred use brisket or topside for a cheaper beef cut.
