Almond Flour Biscuits

These almond flour biscuits are soft, tender and made with just five simple ingredients. They are naturally gluten free and low carb, making them a great addition to breakfast or a bowl of soup, stew or chili.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/3 cup cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and egg. Mix well until smooth and fully incorporated.
- 2
Add the almond flour, baking powder and salt and mix until a soft dough forms. The texture should be slightly sticky, neither too firm nor too loose.
- 3
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 4
Using a #20 scoop or 3 tablespoons, portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- 6
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
