📝 Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 pc Large red onion (sliced)
  • 1 pc Bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup Snow peas
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger (peeled)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water (broth chicken or beef)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until fully browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  2. 2In the same pan, add olive oil. Add sliced onions and bell peppers and cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until they are tender but still crisp, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3While the vegetables cook, prepare the stir fry sauce. In a food processor or blender, combine the peeled ginger, garlic cloves, water (or broth), soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Blend until smooth.
  4. 4Add snow peas to the pan with the other vegetables and cook for an additional 2 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  5. 5Return the cooked ground beef to the pan and pour in the stir fry sauce. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  6. 6Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and everything is well coated. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  7. 7Serve hot and enjoy!
