Tender air fryer chicken thighs are a tasty, easy main course, perfect as a quick and healthy dinner. The meat is marinated in Greek yogurt and seasoning, creating the most flavorful chicken.

📝 Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken thighs ((600 g or 1 1/2 lbs))
  • 4 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Start by combining the Greek yogurt and seasoning in a bowl to create a marinade. Add the chicken thighs to the same bowl, and stir to coat the meat evenly. Optionally, you can now leave the chicken to marinade in a refrigerator for up to a few hours.
  2. 2Preheat the air fryer to 360 °F / 180 °C. Spray the inside of the basket with your olive oil spray.
  3. 3Place the marinated chicken thighs in the basket, leaving a little room between each thigh. If you have a smaller basket, you might have to air fry the chicken in multiple batches. Avoid stacking the chicken on top of each other.
  4. 4Air fry for about 5 minutes, then flip the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes. If you’re using chicken thighs with bones in them, increase the cooking time with 10 minutes in total.
  5. 5Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature of the thighs reach 165 °F / 74 °C. Remove them from the air fryer, and leave them to rest for about 5 minutes before serving them. Allowing them to rest first ensures the juiciest result possible.
