📝 Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or add to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or add to taste)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups oil

  1. 1Sprinkle salt and pepper over shrimp in a medium bowl and mix well.
  2. 2In a shallow bowl, combine flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3Add eggs to a second bowl and panko to a third bowl.
  4. 4To coat the shrimp, dip them into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and then into panko crumbs. Place them on a flat plate or tray.
  5. 5Heat the oil in a deep fryer or deep skillet to a temperature of about 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  6. 6Once the oil is hot, fry a few shrimp at a time fry until golden brown. About 2 to 3 minutes depending on the size of the shrimp.
