  • 400 grams firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small red onion, diced and petals separated
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons rice flour or cornstarch
  • For Hoisin Sauce Mix
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • For Garnishing
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chives or spring onion greens
