Perfectly cooked and full of flavor, these Pan Fried Breaded Chicken Tenders are an easy lunch or dinner you'll love! They are crispy, delicious, and cook up in just minutes in a skillet.
📝 Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 4 chicken tenders
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1First let's prep the pan. Add cooking oil and turn the heat to high. When the oil starts sizzling, you'll know it's ready for cooking.
- 2Meanwhile, it's time to bread the chicken. Break one egg into a bowl (large enough to fit a chicken tender) and whisk it up.
- 3Pour seasoned breadcrumbs into a similarly-sized bowl. Dip chicken tenders (both sides) into egg and then the breadcrumbs. Finally, add the breaded tender to the skillet. Repeat with all pieces of chicken.
- 4Now it's time to add the salt and pepper. Sprinkle both on the chicken tenders. (You'll get the other side in a minute.)
- 5Reduce heat to medium high and cook for 5 minutes. Next, flip the chicken tenders. Season them again. If necessary, turn the heat down to low.
- 6Cook for another 5 minutes or until a meat thermometer registers at 165 at the thickest point of the tenders.
- 7Once the chicken is done cooking, turn off the heat and use a spatula to move tenders to a serving plate.
