📝 Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked sausage (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick (substitute given below)
  • 3/4 cup Grated cheese (I used cheddar)
  • 2 tbsp Milk (I used cold milk)
  • 1/2 tsp Hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning (optional)
  • A pinch Dried rosemary
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Crisco (shortening (you can use butter also))

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 180C/ 10 mins before baking. Line a baking sheet with parchment/baking paper. Stir together all ingredients, using hands or spoon. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.
  2. 2--- Bisquick Substitute Preparation ---
  3. 3Mix dry ingredients together, then using a pastry knife cut the Crisco into the mix. Makes 1 cup Bisquick equivalent. This mix has to be stored in the fridge.
