A cozy fall appetizer with brie cheese, crostini, and homemade apple butter!

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 pound brie cheese (one medium-sized wedge), cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup apple butter

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Lay baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. 3Bake baguette slices at 350 degrees F for 5-7 minutes until very lightly toasted. Remove pan from oven.
  4. 4Top each baguette slice with a piece of brie and a dollop of apple butter (I like to use about 1/2 teaspoon of apple butter per crostini).
  5. 5Return pan to oven and bake 3-4 minutes more, until brie has just started to soften and melt. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
