Spicy Sausage Pasta

This spicy sausage pasta with chili and peppers is packed with flavors and colors. With fajita style vegetables and spicy sausage, it’s a quick and easy dinner recipe your family will love.
Ingredients
- 300 g pasta
- 6 spicy pork sausages
- 1 can diced tomatoes ((14 oz/400 ml))
- 1 chili
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red onion
- 2 peppers
- 1 tsp paprika
- pinch of salt

Boil pasta according to the package instructions.

Meanwhile, heat the vegetable oil or cooking spray in a large pot on medium heat. Remove the casings from the sausages, and add them to the pot. Use a spoon or spatula or mash the sausages until it has the consistency of ground meat.

Add finely diced chili and garlic. Allow it to saute for a few minutes until the sausage has cooked through.

Add canned diced tomatoes, paprika powder and salt and leave the sauce to simmer for 4-5 minutes.

Finally, add thinly sliced peppers and red onions. Stir them into the sauce and leave it to simmer for a few more minutes until the vegetables have softened.

Optionally add chili powder to taste to make the dish more spicy.

Drain off the excess pata water. Combine the pasta with the sauce and serve.
