Slow Cooker Jacket Potatoes (Baked Potato)

Slow cooker jacket potatoes are a great side dish or main course.Follow our easy recipe, and you'll have delicious, tender fluffy baked potatoes in a few hours. The slow cooker does all the work and is also a more economical way to make them compared to the oven, so why not give it a try? You can cook multiple baking potatoes at once and they can be stored in the fridge for up to four days or frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave or oven when you are ready to eat them.
Ingredients
- 4 Jacket Potato (about 230g)
- 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt

Prick: Wash and prick 4 Jacket Potato all over with a fork about four times. Most slow cookers will fit at least 4 large potatoes, you can cook more, as many as will fit in a single layer in the slow cooker.

Oil: Pour 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil into the bottom of the slow cooker and roll all sides of the potato skins into it.Or use spray oil instead.

Salt: Sprinkle with Salt on both sides.

Tea Towel: For best results use a tea towel over the slow cooker pot before placing the lid on. This helps create crispy skin by preventing condensation from the lid dripping onto the potatoes.

Cook: Place lid on top, cook in the slow cookerHigh - 4 hours *Prefered method for crispy skin*Low - 8 hours(if the potatoes are larger than 260 grams each you may need extra time?)

Check: Remove the lid, check soft throughout with a knife.
