Chocolate Cornflake Cake

Chocolate Cornflake Cakes are a no bake recipe perfect for kids who want to help make cakes, they are super quick and easy to make with only 4 ingredients. Ready in less than 15 minutes without any special equipment. All you need is a large mixing bowl, wooden spoon and cupcake cases. Ingredients
- 80 g Butter
- 200 g Milk Chocolate
- 2 tbsp Golden Syrup
- 150 g Cornflakes
- Handful Marshmallows, smarties, mini eggs for easter or raisins

Bowl: Cut 80 g Butter into cubes, break 200 g Milk Chocolate into small pieces and place into a large glass mixing bowl.Pour 2 tbsp Golden Syrup on top.

Melt: Microwave on 50% power for 30 - second intervals. Melt slowly to prevent overcooking chocolate.

Smooth: Stir and continue in 30 - second intervals in the microwave. Stirring each time until melted into a smooth mix.

Cornflakes: Pour 150 g Cornflakes into the melted chocolate mix

Stir until well coated

Cases: Scoop into cupcake cases, it is normal for them to be soft at the moment they will harden as they cool.

Extras: Add extras if wanted like Handful Marshmallows, smarties, mini eggs for easter or raisins

Cool: Place in the fridge to cool and firm up.
