- 4 Baking Potatoes
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 225 ml Warm Water
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Oven: Preheat the oven 210°C fan/230°C/450°F/Gas Mark 8
- 2Pierce: Use a fork to pierce the skin a few times on each potato
- 3Stir: In a large bowl, stir the salt in with the warm water until it dissolves.
- 4Roll each potato into the salted water to coat the skin.
- 5Place onto a baking tray, a tray with a rack works best.
- 6Cook: Place the baking tray into the oven at 210°C fan/230°C/450°F/Gas Mark 8 for 50 minutes.Time may vary depending on potato size our baking potatoes weighed approx 300 grams each. Adjust time to suit the size of your potato.
- 7Oil: After 50 minutes, remove from the oven. Brush over the potato skins with olive oil using a silicone brush.
- 8Cook: Return the tray to the oven and cook for 20 minutes longer, to crisp off the skin.
- 9Remove from oven and serve immediatly.
- 10Cut open each potato and add your favorite toppings.
