📝 Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breast fillets (approximately 10 ounces or 300 grams)
  • 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chilli flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste (optional))

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Cut the chicken into approximately 1-inch sized cubes (about 2 cm). You should get between 16 and 20 cubes from each chicken breast. Place the chicken in a large bowl.
  2. 2Combine all the marinade ingredients and then pour the marinade over the chicken. Stir well to coat then cover the bowl and place it into the refrigerator for half an hour to marinate.
  3. 3Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F.
  4. 4Thread 4 pieces of chicken onto a wooden skewer and place it on the baking tray which you have lined with tin foil. Repeat until all the chicken has been skewered. Then spoon any remaining marinade over the chicken on the baking tray.
  5. 5Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 74°C/165°F.
