Papad Churi Chaat | Papad Chat

Papad Churi Chaat is a simple snack of crushed roasted papad mixed with chopped onions, tomatoes, and some spices like chilli powder and chat masala. This simple recipe yields a lip-smacking crunchy tea-time snack. All you need to complete the experience is some hot Chai (Indian Milk Tea) to sip on.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Roasted and Crushed Papad
- 1/4 Cup Tomato ((Finely Chopped))
- 1/4 Cup Onion ((Finely Chopped))
- 1/4 tsp Chat Masala
- 1/4 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1/4 tsp Sendha Namak/Himalayan Pink Salt ((can be replaced with table salt))
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice ((Optional))

--- Prepping the Papad ---

Roast 2 large papads on an open flame or in an microwave.

Crush the roasted papad to large pieces.

--- Making the Papad Chat ---

To 1 cup roasted and crushed papad, add 1/4 tsp chaat masala, 1/4 tsp chilli powder, and 1/4 tsp salt and mix well. I used Sendha Namak (Himalayan Pink Salt) .

Now add 1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup finely chopped onions, and some finely chopped coriander, and mix well.

{Optional} Add 1/2 tsp lemon juice and mix well.

Serve the Papad Chat immediately with some hot Chai | Indian Tea.
