Seafood pasta bake with shrimp, scallops, squid and salmon in a creamy béchamel sauce topped with golden panko and cheese.

📝 Ingredients

  • 250 g macaroni
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g salmon
  • 150 g squid
  • 150 g scallops
  • 150 g shrimp
  • 4 stalks spring onions, finely sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 3/4 cup panko
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • fresh parsley, finely chopped

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. 2Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and transfer to a baking dish.
  3. 3Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan over high heat. Sear seafood for about 30 seconds on each side. Remove and add to the pasta.
  4. 4In the same pan, add remaining oil and reduce heat to medium. Cook spring onions and garlic until soft, then add to the baking dish. Mix everything together.
  5. 5In the same pan, melt butter. Add flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth. Add parmesan and cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. 6Pour the sauce over the pasta and seafood. Mix gently to combine.
  7. 7Top with panko and parmesan.
  8. 8Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden on top.
  9. 9Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
