  • 4 cup water, for boiling
  • 0.5 carrot
  • 8 oz unsweetened corn
  • 8 oz water, for corn blend
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 6 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp chicken powder
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 0.25 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 cup cilantro

    Prepare chicken: Cut and dice the chicken breast into small pieces.

    Prepare vegetables: Pour the unsweetened corn kernels and an equal amount of water into a blender.

    Prepare slurry & eggs: Create the cornstarch slurry by mixing cornstarch and water in a bowl, and stir until the cornstarch has completely dissolved.

    Start soup: Set a large pot on your stovetop, and set to the highest heat. Pour water, and cover to bring to a boil.

    Add flavors & serve: To give the soup that extra umph and umami flavor, add salt, chicken powder, white pepper, and sesame oil.
