Honey Mustard Chicken is a simple baked chicken breast with a sweet and tangy sauce that takes just minutes to prepare.
📝 Ingredients
- 2 pounds Boneless skinless chicken breasts ((3-4 medium sized breasts))
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
- Fresh minced parsley (optional, for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons Whole grain mustard
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons Honey
- 2 Garlic cloves (finely minced)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Smoked paprika
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- 2Combine honey mustard sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- 3Place chicken breasts in a large ziploc bag or between two pieces of plastic wrap and lightly pound until they are of even thickness.
- 4Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in the dish side by side. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 5Brush sauce evenly on top of the chicken sauce on top of the chicken (use more or less to your taste).
- 6Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and registers 165 degrees on a meat thermometer. (Depending on the thickness of the meat, this could take a few minutes longer).
- 7Let stand for 5 minutes, then serve garnished with freshly minced parsley if desired.
