Arroz jasmim grudento

O arroz jasmim tem um sabor mais adocicado e grãos mais grudentos do que a maioria dos tipos de arroz. Preparamos arroz jasmim grudento para servir com nossos pratos asiáticos. É muito simples de fazer quando se conhece a proporção certa de arroz e água. Vamos mostrar essa proporção nesta receita! Acrescentamos anis-estrelado durante o cozimento para dar um sabor sutil ao arroz.
Ingredientes
- 380 grams Jasmine Rice
- 660 ml Cold Water
- 1 Star Anise
- pinch of salt

Starch: DO NOT WASH YOUR RICE!! You need the starch to make it sticky!

Pan: Add 380 grams Jasmine Rice & 660 ml Cold Water into a stainless steel pan.Optional - Add a pinch of salt & 1 Star Anise for flavourBring to the boil with the lid off.

Boil: Once it reaches the boil, turn the temperature to a lower setting and place the lid on for 8 minutes.Do not remove the lid during this time!

Off: After 8 minutes turn off the heat. Leave to sit for 5 minutes with the lid still on to allow any remaining liquid to soak up into the rice.Remove the lid and the star anise.

Fork: Use a fork to separate grains a little and you are ready to serve your sticky jasmine rice!
