Estrogonofe de frango brasileiro

É fácil de fazer com ingredientes comuns e fáceis de encontrar, como peito de frango, molho de tomate e creme de leite, e fica pronta em cerca de 30 minutos! Sirva essa delícia cremosa com arroz branco brasileiro e deixe ainda melhor com batata palha crocante por cima!
Ingredientes
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts cut into cubes
- 1 medium-large onion, diced (about a heaping cup)
- 1 tablespoon of Brazilian Sofrito (or 3 garlic cloves, minced)
- 1 15oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 1.5 cups of heavy cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Modo de preparo

Add the cubed chicken pieces to a large dish, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.

Place a large heavy bottomed pan or dutch oven over medium to high heat. Add the butter, and let it melt.

Add the chicken pieces and cook them until they start to brown.

Add the onion, and cook until transparent, then add the garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add in the tomato sauce and the ketchup, let it come to a simmer and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add the cream and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, and serve!
