Biscoitos de arroz japoneses okaki

Esses biscoitos de arroz japoneses tradicionais, chamados “okaki”, são muito fáceis de fazer e precisam de apenas dois ingredientes para criar um lanche simples e delicioso!
Ingredientes
- 2 Mochi cakes (dry)
- Oil to fry
- Salt to taste

Cut the mochi cakes into 3mm thick slices

spread and dry: Spread out the cut mochi cakes on a tray and sun driy for at least a few days or till a lot of small cracks appear on the surface. *1

Heat oil in a frying pan to 160 degree Celsius and deep-fry the cut and dried mochi cakes till golden brown by constantly turning all. *2

remove: Take them out of the frying pan and place on top of a paper towel to absorb the excess oil and dry.

season: Sprinkle some salt to taste and serve! *3
