This caramelized onion hummus recipe is a delicious twist on classic hummus, blending the rich sweetness of caramelised onions with tangy balsamic for a unique dip. 📝 Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 medium yellow onion
- 2 cup cooked chickpeas
- 2 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 1/2 lemon
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook the onions until deeply golden, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally and add splashes of water as needed to deglaze the pan.
