Sweet, sticky and packed with tasty flavors, these Halloween Rice Krispie treats are a real treat. They're easy and quick to make.
📝 Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup unsalted butter (1 Stick)
- 1 Cup M&M’s (Halloween colors)
- 1 Cup candy corn
- 3/4 Cup pretzel twists (mini)
- 1/8 Teaspoon salt
- 14 Ounces mini marshmallows
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- 7 Cups Rice Krispies
- 1/4 Cup sprinkles
- 1/4 Cup green candy melts (for drizzling (optional))
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- 2Melt the butter in a pot over a low heat.
- 3melt: Set 1½ cups of marshmallows aside and add the rest of them to the pot with the butter and melt over a low heat, stirring all the time, until you have a smooth consistency.
- 4stir: Take the pot off the heat and stir in the salt and vanilla extract.
- 5fold: Now you can fold in the Rice Krispies, mini pretzel twists, marshmallows, M&Ms, sprinkles, and candy corn.
- 6Spread the mixture into an even layer in the baking dish using a spatula.
- 7warm: Next, melt the candy wafers in a disposable piping bag in the microwave on a low or defrost setting until melted completely, massaging the bag every 30 seconds so it warms up evenly.
- 8cool: Let it cool for a few minutes before snipping off a little piece of the tip and drizzling it over the treats. Add more toppings such as more M&M’s, candy corn, pretzels, and sprinkles.
- 9slice: Let it cool completely on the counter for half an hour to a full hour before cutting it into squares.
