The frozen treat you never knew you needed

📝 Ingredients

  • 2 small bananas (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (of choice)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate of choice)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Place a sheet of parchment paper on a rimmed baking sheet. Arrange the banana slices in a rectangle.
  2. 2Spread the nut butter evenly over the banana slices, then place in the freezer while you melt the chocolate.
  3. 3Place the chocolate (and coconut oil, if using) in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Heat again for 30 seconds, remove and stir. Repeat until the chocolate is smooth and melty. Take the pan from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate on top of the bananas and nut butter.
  4. 4Spread to the edges then sprinkle toppings, if desired.
  5. 5Freeze the banana bark for 1 hour, or until completely frozen and solid.
  6. 6Remove from the freezer and break or cut into pieces and enjoy!Store any remaining pieces of banana bark in an airtight freezer container. The banana bark will keep for up to 1 month.
