Grilled Asparagus in Foil is an easy dish that cooks asparagus in wrapped foil packets. I guarantee you everybody will love it!
📝 Ingredients
- 12 oz Asparagus (aprox. 350grams( fresh, not canned))
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp Dried Mixed Herbs
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F. We need to trim off the woody part of the asparagus. The best way to do it is to take a stalk and gently bend it. Wherever the stalk snaps are the natural snap-off point ( where the tough and fibrous woody part ends, and the tender and young asparagus begin). Discard the woody parts.
- 2Line two sheets of aluminium foil with a piece of parchment paper on the top. Place asparagus on the top of the parchment paper without overlaying. Season the asparagus– drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and mixed herbs. Rub the oil and seasonings around the asparagus to make sure it’s well coated.
- 3Fold the parchment paper and the aluminium foil tightly to create a sealed wrapped pocket.
- 4Place it onto a baking tray then go into the oven to bake for 15 minutes. After it is cooked, squeeze some lime/lemon juice and serve when hot.
