This easy tiramisu recipe is made with mascarpone, coffee, ladyfingers, eggs, and cocoa powder. It's the perfect no-bake Italian dessert.
📝 Ingredients
- 3 medium eggs
- 75 grams (1/3 cup) granulated sugar
- 250 grams (8 3/4 ounces) mascarpone cheese
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 14 ladyfingers
- 200 ml (about 1 cup) hot water
- Cocoa powder for dusting the top
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and refrigerate until ready to use.
- 2Using an electric mixer, beat the egg yolks and sugar on medium speed until creamy and smooth. Add the mascarpone cheese and mix for 2 to 3 minutes until well combined. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites with a spatula until the mixture is light and smooth.
- 3In a bowl, combine the hot water, coffee, and rum. Quickly dip 7 ladyfingers into the coffee mixture and arrange them in a single layer on the bottom of a rectangular baking dish (23 x 15 centimeters (9 x 5 inches)).
- 4Spread a layer of the cream over the ladyfingers and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
- 5Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of cream and a dusting of cocoa powder. Refrigerate for about 4 hours, or until well chilled and set.
