Broiled Salmon with Sweet and Spicy Rub is an easy broiled salmon recipe topped with a simple salmon rub. It's a healthy dinner that comes together in minutes!

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. salmon (skin on or off (4-6 fillets or 1 large))
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Preheat broiler: Place the salmon fillets on a foiled lined rimmed baking sheet. Place an oven rack about 6 inches from the top of the oven and preheat the broiler to high.
  2. 2Prepare rub: Prepare the rub. In a small bowl, combine the coconut sugar, chili powder, smoked paprika and salt.
  3. 3Rub salmon: Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the salmon fillets, then massage the desired amount of the salmon rub into the top of the salmon (you may not need it all).
  4. 4Broil salmon: Broil the salmon for 5-10 minutes, depending on the thickness (see Notes), or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Serve and enjoy!
