📝 Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup White vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar
- 1 cup Soy sauce
- 4 pieces Pork chops (1 inch thick)
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 175 degree C.
- 2Rinse the pork chop and pat dry. Prick some holes on the pork to enable the marinade to better absorbed into the meat.
- 3In a medium bowl, stir together the hoisin sauce, vinegar, sugar and soy sauce.
- 4Dip the pork chop into the mixture and place in a shallow baking dish. Pour the remaining sauce over the pork chop. Cover and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes.
- 5Remove pork chops from fridge at least 1 hour before baking to allow it to come to room temperature.
- 6Arrange the pork chop in a shallow baking pan and bake the pork chops uncovered until the meat is cooked through, about 30 to 40 minutes. Baste the pork chops with some of the marinade.
- 7Put the remaining marinade in a pan and boiled it over low heat. Pour a little of the sauce over the baked pork chop before serving. Serve hot with salad and steamed rice.
