📝 Ingredients

  • 2 8 oz Bavette Steaks
  • 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning Mix
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 cup Chimichurri Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tbsp butter for finish.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. 2Pat dry steaks with a paper towel
  3. 3Season steaks generously with cajun seasoning.
  4. 4Brush butter on the steaks.
  5. 5Apply another coating of spice mix
  6. 6Preheat skillet to high heat. Pan should be smoking.
  7. 7Add ghee to hot pan.
  8. 8Once hot add the steaks. Cook in batches if you don’t have a large enough pan.
  9. 9Fry 3-4 minutes per side
  10. 10Remove off heat and bake in the oven 20 minutes. Last two minutes add 1 tbsp butter.
  11. 11Remove and go back to stovetop. Baste the steak with melted butter.
  12. 12Let rest 5 minutes.
  13. 13Slice against the grain. Top with the chimichurri sauce.
