These healthy protein brownies are ultra rich and fudgy, with up to 15 grams of protein each.
📝 Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup protein powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder ((I like Dutch))
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil (or butter)
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar (or granulated erythritol)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips ((optional))
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2Grease an 8-inch pan with oil or fat-free spray, or line it with parchment paper, and set aside.
- 3In a large mixing bowl, stir all of the brownie ingredients well.
- 4Spread the chocolate brownie batter evenly into the pan. You can add a second sheet of parchment paper over the top to help smooth and press the mix down evenly, then remove this second sheet before cooking.
- 5Bake on the oven's middle rack for 20 minutes, then carefully remove from the oven.
- 6Let the brownie pan cool on the counter. They will firm up as they cool and continue to firm up even more if you very loosely cover and refrigerate overnight.
