📝 Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 12 oz short cut pasta
  • 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup low sodium beef broth
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook pasta according to the package directions.
  2. 2Add oil to a large skillet over high heat. Once hot at ground beef and onion. Break up the ground beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until the onions are soft and the beef is no longer pink.
  3. 3Drain any fat from the pan. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4Mix in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, pepper flakes, tomato sauce and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes until it starts to thicken slightly.
  5. 5Cut cream cheese into small cubes and add to the pan. Stir until it is completely melted.
  6. 6Add in cooked pasta and Mozzarella cheese. Stir until everything is evenly coated and the cheese is melted.
  7. 7Serve immediately.
