This is the easiest rice recipe since our good old white rice. Make this delicious jollof style rice recipe in less than 20 mins.

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup Palm oil
  • 1 teaspoon bouillon powder or to taste
  • 1 Tbsp pepper flakes (use more or less depending on your spice tolerance level)
  • 5 cups Cooked rice ((about 2 cups of raw rice))

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Sauté onions in Palm oil, add bouillon powder and pepper flakes.
  2. 2Cook till onions is caramelized and just begins to crisp. Not burnt. Takes about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3Stir in the cooked rice and turn off heat. Cover pot and let the heat warm rubs through.
  4. 4Serve warm
