Cool, crisp and effortlessly elegant, the Cucumber Gimlet is a garden-fresh twist on a classic. Vibrant lime and botanical gin together with cucumber create a cocktail that’s perfect for summer. Garnished with a thin ribbon of cucumber or simple mint leaves, this cocktail looks as stunning as it tastes—bright, zesty and irresistibly refreshing.

📝 Ingredients

  • 4 slices peeled cucumber ((half inch thick slices))
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 8 leaves fresh mint
  • 2 ounces gin (preferably Hendrick’s, which has green herbaceous notes)
  • ice
  • cucumber ribbon (for garnish)
  • mint leaves

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1To a cocktail shaker, add the cucumber slices, simple syrup, lime juice and mint leaves. Muddle until the cucumber has completely broken up and released all its juice.
  2. 2Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the gin. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker feels very cold.
  3. 3Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass. Add the cucumber ribbon and mint leaves for garnish.
  4. 4Serve immediately. Cheers!
