📝 Ingredients

  • 4 6 oz salmon fillets (2" thick)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons seasoned rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 3 tbsp agave nectar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 4 green onions (sliced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (toasted)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Mix up the marinade by combining all the ingredients (minus the salmon).
  2. 2Place the salmon fillets in a non-reactive dish or a plastic ziptop bag, then pour the marinade over the salmon.
  3. 3Marinate the salmon in the fridge at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight.
  4. 4When you're ready to cook up the salmon, preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  5. 5Sear the salmon for 5 to 8 per side, depending on how you well-done like your salmon.
