Miso Maple Glazed Salmon: A savory and sweet umami delight. Super quick recipe for dinner. Make it a meal and serve with Japanese potato salad.

📝 Ingredients

  • 4 x 200g salmon fillets, centre cut, about 4cm thick through the centre
  • creamy Japanese potato salad, to serve (optional)
  • Miso marinade:
  • 1/4 cup white miso
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 180C/360F.
  2. 2In a large bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the miso marinade.
  3. 3Line a baking tray with foil. Place the salmon (skin side down, if it has the skin) onto the tray. Spoon over generous amounts of the marinade, being sure to cover the tops and sides of the fillets. Place in the oven and cook for 15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  4. 4Serve warm with your choice of sides (I love my creamy Japanese potato salad with this one!).
