Eggless Custard Powder Cake is an easy to make which can be served plain as a teacake with your evening coffee or tea.
📝 Ingredients
- 75 gm Maida
- 25 gm Custard Powder
- 75 gm Powdered Sugar
- 50 gm Milk Powder
- 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 150 ml Milk
- 50 gm Melted Butter
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 160°C.
- 2In a bowl, mix together maida, custard powder, powdered sugar, milk powder and baking powder.
- 3Add melted butter and milk.
- 4Mix to form smooth batter.
- 5Pour the batter into a 5″ square tin which is greased and lined with parchment.
- 6Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
- 7Let the cake cool for five minutes on the rack.
- 8Flip it onto the wire rack, remove the parchment and flip it back so that the top of the cake remains on the top.
- 9Allow it to cool completely.
- 10Slice it up and serve.
