This is the classic salad with pan-fried chicken and a mix of other fresh ingredients.

📝 Ingredients

  • 1/2 chicken breast cut in strips (or salmon, fish, roast beef, pork filet)
  • 1 hard boiled egg (or 3 quail eggs, cooked potato, nuts)
  • 1 tomato, chopped (or cucumber, corn, something fresh)
  • lettuce (the one you like most that's crunchy and fresh)
  • parmesan cheese flakes (or fresh cheese, feta, brie or other soft cheese)
  • 1 handful walnuts (or almonds, brazil nuts, hazelnuts, cashews, peanuts)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Prepare the protein by cutting it into strips.
  2. 2Put a bit of vegetable oil in a pan on high heat and add the protein on top without moving it around for a couple of minutes so it gets a nice color.
  3. 3Once seared on all sides, lower the heat if further cooking is needed, and even put a lid on.
  4. 4Assemble the salad by combining the crunchy lettuce, chopped tomato, hard-boiled egg, parmesan cheese flakes, and walnuts in a bowl or jar.
  5. 5Top with the cooked pan-fried protein and serve with your preferred dressing.
