📝 Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken breast (cut in half horizontally )
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp garlic (minced)
- 4 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 1 oz parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, add the chicken, olive oil, and spices. Toss to combine.
- 2Heat a 12 inch non-stick skillet (or large pot) over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches 165 degrees F. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- 3In the now empty skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- 4Add the broth, cream, and fettuccine noodles. Turn the heat to high and bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, reduce the heat so the sauce is cooking at a heavy simmer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
- 5Add the parmesan cheese and salt. Stir with tongs until combined.
- 6Slice the chicken and add to the top of the pasta. Serve and enjoy!
