Gebratener Blumenkohl
Gebratener Blumenkohl mit Tomaten, Judasohrpilzen und Austernsauce. Ein schnelles, chinesisch inspiriertes Gemüsegericht voller Geschmack.
Zutaten
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 2 tbsp dried wood ear mushrooms, soaked and sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- 2 dried chillies (optional)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (or vegan alternatives)
- 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
- 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1/4 cup water or vegetable stock
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp oil
Zubereitung

Soak the dried wood ear mushrooms in warm water until softened. Drain and slice into bite-sized pieces.

Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry the cauliflower for 3–4 minutes until lightly charred but still crisp.

Add the garlic, ginger, and dried chillies. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they begin to soften and release their juices.

Stir in the wood ear mushrooms, oyster sauce, salt, sugar (if using), and water or stock. Cover and cook for 4 minutes.

Pour in the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.

Toss through the spring onions and serve immediately with steamed rice.
