Brasilianisches Hähnchen-Stroganoff

Brasilianisches Hähnchen-Stroganoff ist ein Klassiker für jeden Tag, den die ganze Familie lieben wird! Wie mein brasilianisches Rindfleisch-Stroganoff ist auch dieses Gericht köstlich und wohltuend. Das einfache Rezept wird mit alltäglichen, leicht erhältlichen Zutaten wie Hähnchenbrust, Tomatensoße und Sahne zubereitet und ist in etwa 30 Minuten fertig! Serviere diese cremige Köstlichkeit mit brasilianischem weißem Reis und verfeinere sie mit knusprigen Kartoffelsticks obendrauf!
Zutaten
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts cut into cubes
- 1 medium-large onion, diced (about a heaping cup)
- 1 tablespoon of Brazilian Sofrito (or 3 garlic cloves, minced)
- 1 15oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 1.5 cups of heavy cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Zubereitung

Add the cubed chicken pieces to a large dish, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.

Place a large heavy bottomed pan or dutch oven over medium to high heat. Add the butter, and let it melt.

Add the chicken pieces and cook them until they start to brown.

Add the onion, and cook until transparent, then add the garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add in the tomato sauce and the ketchup, let it come to a simmer and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add the cream and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, and serve!
