Zutaten

  • 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • 3 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup frozen peas
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Zubereitung

  1. 1

Boil pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

Crisp prosciutto: While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the prosciutto and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove prosciutto and set aside on a paper towel.

  3. 3

Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. 4

Simmer sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and add frozen peas. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.

  5. 5

Crumble prosciutto: Crumble the crispy prosciutto and add half back into the skillet, saving some for garnish.

  6. 6

Toss pasta: Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing to coat with the cream sauce.

  7. 7

Serve the pasta in bowls, topped with remaining crispy prosciutto and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
