Zutaten

  • 1 pound chicken wings (split)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (plus additional to taste, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese (plus additional for serving)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for serving)

Zubereitung

  1. 1

Prepare: Place a rack in the center of your oven and preheat to 400°F.

  2. 2

Season: In a large bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Add the wings and oil and toss to coat in the seasoning blend.

  3. 3

Bake: Arrange the wings on a large rimmed baking sheet, giving them plenty of space. Bake until crisp and golden, about 30 minutes.

  4. 4

Make: Meanwhile, make the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the parmesan, garlic powder, and salt and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in the parsley.

  5. 5

Finish: When the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl and toss with the sauce to coat. Garnish with additional parmesan, parsley, and a squeeze of lemon and serve.
