- 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Préparation
- 1
Prep the oven.: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2
Make the cheese butter mixture.: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes if you're using them. Stir to create a fragrant herb butter.
- 3
Assemble the chicken.: Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season them generously with salt and pepper. Lay the chicken breasts in a baking dish and spoon the Parmesan herb butter mixture over each one, spreading it evenly.
- 4
Bake to perfection.: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes to reabsorb those lovely juices.
- 5
Garnish and serve.: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and perhaps a little extra Parmesan before serving.
