Patates douces rôties à l’érable

Ces patates douces rôties au four sont enrobées d’un glaçage à l’érable et cuites jusqu’à ce qu’elles soient tendres, caramélisées et légèrement dorées. Un accompagnement facile pour les soirs de semaine, idéal pour préparer les repas à l’avance et assez délicieux pour les repas de fête.
Ingrédients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste

Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 400º Fahrenheit (200ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up.

Prep yams: Rinse, peel and cut the sweet potatoes into small cubes (about 3/4-inch pieces)

Combine maple mixture: In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon and olive oil.

Toss to coat: Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet and pour the maple syrup mixture over them. Season lightly with salt and toss to coat.

Roast in the oven, for 30 to 40 minutes or until tender and the edges are lightly brown, turning them with a spatula once during the cooking process.

Serve: Remove from the oven and season with salt to taste. Serve warm.
