Carbonara al pesto
La carbonara es un clásico plato italiano de pasta hecho con huevos, queso y beicon. Hemos llevado esta cremosa cena al siguiente nivel al añadirle pesto y usar salami crujiente en lugar de beicon para que quede más crujiente. El resultado es un plato de pasta abundante y delicioso, perfecto para cualquier ocasión.

In a large pot, cook the pasta according to package directions, reserving ½ cup of pasta water, before draining.

In a medium pan over medium heat, add the salamiAmount10Ingredientslices salami, sliced into strips and cook for 3-5 minutes, until crispy, stirring occasionally, and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, parmesan, heavy creamAmount1/4 cupIngredientheavy cream, and 2 tablespoons of pesto. Immediately, transfer the hot pasta to the egg mixture, working quickly to toss. If needed while mixing, add just a splash of the pasta water at a time as needed to loosen the sauce. Stir in the salami, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately and top with additional parmesan cheese and pesto.
