Salsa de arándanos casera con guayaba y naranjas
Evita la salsa de arándanos en conserva este año y prepárala en casa con un toque cubano añadiendo mermelada de guayaba y naranjas. Esta salsa de arándanos, guayaba y naranja tiene solo 5 ingredientes: arándanos enteros, zumo de naranja fresco, ralladura de naranja, mermelada de guayaba, canela, vainilla y azúcar. ¡Lista en solo 20 minutos!
Ingredientes
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or more to taste)
- 1/3 cup fresh orange juice ((juice from 1 orange))
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 1 cup guava marmalade*
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 ounces whole cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cinnamon stick

In a saucepan, add sugar, orange juice, orange zest, guava marmalade, and vanilla. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Add whole cranberries, salt, and the cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.

Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring now and then, until the cranberries burst and the sauce becomes thick and glossy. You can also mash the cranberries until your desired consistency.

Remove from heat and remove the cinnamon stick. Transfer the guava cranberry sauce to a bowl to cool for 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
